SUSIE RENEHAN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior defender from New York, NY, has been named the SCAC Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 18 through Sunday, April 24. (Women's Lacrosse Weekly Release - Week 10)
Renehan helped anchor the Colorado College defense that allowed a combined 14 goals during back-to-back victories in Wisconsin on Saturday, April 23. In the 22-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, she recorded one ground ball and one caused turnover. The one goal scored by the Eagles is the fewest allowed by the Tigers in a game this season. In the 18-13 victory over UW-River Falls, the New York City native tied her season high of two ground balls and caused a turnover. The 13 goals scored by the Falcons were their second-fewest in a game this year. UWRF lost for the first time at home this season and slipped to 13-2 overall.
Renehan already has set career highs of 17 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers this season.
