After finishing the first day of competition tied with Trinity University, the Rocky Mountain Tigers have accumulated 373 total points and lead at the halfway point of this year's championship. Trinity, who has led after Day Two at every SCAC meet since 2020, is in second place with 326 total points while Southwestern University rounds out the top three with 167 points.

Luke Fender of Trinity took home top honors in the 500-yard freestyle after he touched the wall in an NCAA 'B' cut time of 4:23.78 to post his first SCAC individual championship while shattering the previous conference meet record of 4:33.45 which had stood since 2014. Fender also broke his own SCAC open record (4:28.27) which he set back in November. The freshman becomes the 14th different Trinity swimmer to win the event and the second consecutive Tiger following current teammate Nate Perez in 2024. Colorado College's Edmund Davis was second for the second consecutive year after clocking a time of 4:35.58 while last year's champion, Nate Perez, was third in a time of 4:37.84. 500-Yard Freestyle Interview

The 200-yard individual medley saw Andrew Colgan of Colorado College keep the freshman run going with his first-ever SCAC individual title, earning gold with a winning time of 1:51.06 - the second-fastest in the history of the championships. Colgan becomes the third different CC swimmer to win the event and his victory marks the sixth win for the Tiger program in the last nine years (Eric Dallesasse won the event in 2017, 2019 and 2020 and current teammate Collin Ralston had won the last two years). Trinity's Caleb del Rosario finished second with a time of 1:51.40 (fifth-fastest time in SCAC meet history) and Ralston was third in 1:51.65 (seventh-fastest time in SCAC history). 200-Yard IM Interview
