The opening women’s match featuring Austin College and Texas Lutheran was moved to Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on the campus of Baylor University due to wet weather, while a storm that moved in the area in the afternoon delayed the start and kept the outdoor courts at Waco Regional Tennis & Fitness Center unplayable for the final two first round contests between Schreiner/Dallas and McMurry/Ozarks until 9 p.m. CT.

Weather permitting, women's quarterfinal play is scheduled to take place Friday at the Waco Regional Tennis & Fitness Center with the top five seeds all hitting the courts for the first time. The Colorado College/Austin College and Concorida (Texas)/St. Thomas matches will begin at 12:30 p.m. CT while Trinity and McMurry and Southwestern and Schreiner are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. CT.
