Trinity's Hill Knocked out of NCAA Singles Tournament in Second Round

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Trinity University senior women's tennis player Ruth Hill won her opening-round match of the NCAA III Singles Championship but was eliminated in the second round of play on Saturday afternoon.

Hill opened play on Saturday morning against Rachael Fitzgerald of Haverford College (PA), picking up a 6-3, 6-3 win to advance to the second round later in the afternoon. She lost 6-3, 6-3 to Lindsay Eisenman of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CA).

Hill closes out her career with another All-American performance in 2024-25. She qualified for the honor by winning last fall's ITA Regional Singles Championship, then also qualified by winning today's first-round match.
