WYATT WELLEHAN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a first-year from Winnetka, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Diver of the Week for performances the week of Monday, January 8 to Sunday, January 14. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 9)
Last week against three SCIAC opponents, Wellehan was a perfect 4-for-4 on the boards, sweeping both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Against Pomona-Pitzer, Wellehan won the 1-meter with a score of 304.90 points and took top honors on the 3-meter with 338.20 points. In the Tigers' second meet, a double dual with Chapman and Occidental, Wellehan won both boards in tightly contested competition, posting scores of 326.25 on the 1-meter and 332.45 on the 3-meter.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Konstantine Partalas of Trinity won the one meter event and was the runner-up on the three meter board against Division II UT Permian Basin on Saturday. He scored 310.50 points on the one meter board and 314.90 points on the three meter board.
