LEIGHTON GRAHAM OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Boston, Mass., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 3 through Sunday, April 9. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 6
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Cooper Tyler of Trinity took second at the David Noble Relays in the Javelin with a throw of 53.45m. He also took sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.85m. He currently leads the conference in the Javelin. Sophomore Jamal Maxey of Southwestern, in a mixed field of D2, D3, NAIA and junior college opponents, leaped an impressive 6.99m to place third in the Long Jump this past weekend at the David Noble Relays. His recent jump places him second overall in the current SCAC LJ standings. Junior Julio Lima of Dallas, competing in his first year as a thrower, had two personal records of 10.92 meters in the shot put and 32.86 meters in the javelin at the UNT Classic on Saturday.
