AIDAN RICHTER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior from Kirkland, Wash., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Diver of the Week for performances the week of Monday, October 9 to Sunday, October 15. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 2)
Richter was a difference maker for Colorado College in the squad's wins over Trinity this weekend. In Friday's meet, he won both boards, the three-meter with 289.73 points and the one-meter with 290.03 points. On Saturday, Richter finished second in the one-meter optionals, just 0.30 points behind teammate Wyatt Wellehan, and third on the one-meter voluntaries with a score of 186.38.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Konstantine Partalas of Trinity opened his season Friday evening, finishing third on both the three-meter (249.08) and one-meter (249.23) boards at Colorado College. Konstantine's best finish of the weekend came on Saturday morning in his first five dives on the one-meter board, where he was runner-up with 189.00 points. He rounded out the weekend with 296.93 points and a third place finish with his six dives on the one-meter. Junior Griffin Salinas of Southwestern won on back to back days of one-meter diving competition, breaking the school record with a score of 227.00 in the process.
