Hill opened her collegiate career last Saturday with rousing success in match play as the Tiger rookie notched a shutout (6-0, 6-0) victory from line two in the team's 9-0 victory over East Texas Baptist. Later in the afternoon, Hill assumed the first slot in the singles lineup for a 6-2, 6-2 victory in the Tigers' 8-1 rout of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Hannah Reyna of Schreiner went 1-1 on the week at No. 1 singles, dropping her match against New Mexico Military Institute before bouncing back with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against Howard Payne's Lexie Nave.
