SUWANEE, Ga. - The busiest weekend of the
2011-12 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference sports season has
arrived. Championships in the spring sports of baseball, softball,
men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and
women's tennis and men's and women's track & field will be
decided over the course of four days at seven different venues
beginning on Thursday, April 26.
The SCAC Baseball Tournament returns to Millington, Tenn., and
USA Stadium for the third consecutive season. Competition begins on

The SCAC Softball Tournament will be played at a neutral site for
just the second time in conference history. The West Tennessee
Healthcare Sportsplex in Jackson, Tenn., is hosting this year's
event with competition slated to begin on Friday, April 27th

The SCAC Men's and Women's Golf Championships will be held in
Tunica, Miss. The men will compete on the Tunica National
Golf Resort course and the women on The Links of Cottonwoods.

The SCAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will be held on the campus
of Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Ala. The event
will feature the top four teams competing in a single-elimination
format with competition beginning Friday, April 27th. Sunday's

The SCAC Women's Lacrosse Championship will be held on the campus
of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. The event will
feature all four conference teams in a single-elimination
format. The semifinals will take place Saturday,
April 28th with the championship match the following day - Sunday,

The SCAC Men's and Women's Tennis Championships return to
North Little Rock, Ark., and the Burns Park Tennis Center for the
fourth consecutive year. Competition begins on Friday, April
