MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Friday night's game-winning shot against Sewanee marked junior Andrew Galow's 1,000th career point at Rhodes College. Galow joins twenty-seven other Rhodes alumni to surpass this milestone in Lynx basketball history.
Galow's 1,000th point came with 9 seconds remaining on Friday,
February 17th, as he banked in a running five footer off the glass
to give the Lynx a 61 - 60 overtime victory over SCAC rival
Sewanee. He finished the night with 27 points and 6 rebounds.
Galow becomes the 85th player in Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference history (since 1991) to join the 1,000 point club.
With an additional 16 points on Sunday afternoon, Galow moved into 26th place all-time at Rhodes with 1,016 points. This season, Andrew is averaging a career-high 15.3 points per game while shooting 47% from the field, chipping in 4.7 rebounds and 4 assist per game.
