COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sean Woods, who has served as the head men’s lacrosse coach at Mars Hill College in North Carolina for the last five years, has been named the head men’s lacrosse coach at Colorado College, according to Director of Athletics Ken Ralph. Woods will replace Guy Van Arsdale, who recently accepted the head men’s lacrosse coaching position at Jacksonville University.
Woods had an overall record of 51-24 in his five years at Mars Hill. During that time his teams won three Deep South Conference championships (2009, 2010 and 2011), and he was named conference Coach of the Year for three years (2007, 2009 and 2010).
