Austin College dropped its only match last week, a 2-1 decision against Division II foe East Central Oklahoma University on Friday. The 'Roos are now 4-3 overall this season with the loss. The 'Roos fell in a 1-0 hole 13 minutes in before tying things up in the 66th minute on a goal by Ariel Marder, but East Central would tally the decisive goal at the 73:31 mark to hand the 'Roos the narrow loss. Austin College heads back out on the road this weekend when they step into conference play to take on Oglethorpe and Birmingham-Southern.

Birmingham-Southern went 2-0 this week with a 1-0 win against Covenant on Monday and a 6-1 win against Huntingdon on Thursday. Sophomore Bailey Kimbell scored the game-winner against Covenant, and senior Alicia Plotky had the game-winner against Huntingdon. Plotky also made history on Thursday when, with her hat trick, she became BSC women's soccer's all-time points leader, as well as the only player in program history to reach 100 career points. The Panthers are at home again this weekend to open conference action, taking on Dallas, Friday, and Austin, Sunday.

#8 Centre fell 1-0 to Denison University on Saturday afternoon. Before beginning conference play, Centre will host Hanover College Monday, September 26th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST.

Dallas (8-2) went 2-1 on the week in a three-game Calif. road trip. On Friday, the Lady Crusaders defeated Mills College (Calif.) in Oakland, 8-1, with two-goal performances out of underclassmen Claire Sexton and Nicole Johnson. On Saturday, the dynamic duo tallied a goal apiece in Dallas' 2-0 victory over Soka University of America (Calif.) in Aliso Viejo. The shutout was sophomore goalkeeper Brigid Hasson's fifth of the season. Dallas then traveled to Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., to battle Marymount College (Calif.) on Sunday. The team couldn't finish off an undefeated road trip, however, as they fell 2-0 to Marymount. The Lady Crusaders were supposed to play a fourth match on the week – Tuesday, Sept. 20 vs. Dallas Christian College (DCC) – but DCC had a number of players stricken by illness. This game has been rescheduled and will take place at the University of Dallas on Friday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m.

Hendrix split a pair of in-state home matches at Warrior Field this week. On Tuesday, the Warriors recorded their fourth shutout in a five-game stretch with a 2-0 win over Central Baptist. Junior Megan Childress started the game and recorded four saves in the first half. Senior Allison Mosley had five saves in the second half to combine for the shutout. Junior midfielder Morgan Scott in the 17th minute and junior Rebecca Rahn netted her team-leading sixth goal of the season after a CBC turnover in the 42nd minute. On Sunday, the Warriors lost a 3-0 decision to Lyon College. Mosley recorded 12 saves in the game. Hendrix will open SCAC on play this weekend with games at Millsaps and Rhodes.

Millsaps traveled to Division I Alcorn State as they struggled to get any offense going, falling 3-0. Sophomore Jamie Blair Page received her first start in goal after senior Molly Beth Jourdan injured her hand.

Oglethorpe
tied their only match of the week with Warren Wilson, 2-2. The Petrels got off to a very quick start as Kristen Koch tallied to opening goal in just the fourth minute of the game. It was a shot from distance that sailed over the goalkeeper and into the upper right corner of the net. Katie Muller tallied the assist on the goal. However, the Petrels were unable to add on to their lead, despite having total control of the game for much of the first half. This came back to bite them in the second half, as Warren Wilson scored two goals in a little over a minute to turn the game around. The Petrels were then forced to frantically chase the game for most of the second half in an attempt to tie it up. Senior Alexandria Vassell finally came through in the 82nd minute and sent the game into overtime. In the extra periods, Oglethorpe was playing with 10 players after Lexie Craig picked up a late red card. Despite this, overtime was a very exciting back-and-forth affair. However, neither team was able to score, and the game ended in a 2-2 tie. The tie moves the Petrels record to 1-2-1 on the year. They are back on the pitch this Wednesday when they host Huntingdon at 4:00 p.m.

Rhodes had a successful last non-conference road weekend winning both games against Principia and Westminster.  On Friday the Lynx fought back to tie the game with just 30 seconds left on the clock.  The Lynx then scored the game winner 3 minutes into the 1st OT period.  Freshmen Breanna Durbin tied the game at 1-1 off of a corner from sophomore Maddy Esther.  Junior Mae Casey scored for the Lynx in the dying moments of the game to level the game at 2, off of an assist from sophomore Heidi Press.  Press then would score the game winner 3 minutes into the OT period.  On Sunday the Lynx defeated Westminster 3-0.  Senior Ashley Ladd had the first two goals of the game, with the third coming from Press.  The Lynx held the Blue Jays to zero shots, while they produced 44 shots of their own, 25 on goal.  The Lynx also created 13 corners.  The Lynx open up SCAC play this Sunday when the host Hendrix College.

The Tigers dropped a pair of matches this weekend against Division II power Young Harris and No. 4 ranked Emory. Despite losing both contests Sewanee fought hard as freshman Jamie Samociuk fired home her first two career goals, in the Seawnee 3-2 OT loss against the Mountain Lions on Friday.

Southwestern had an off-week this week and stand at 4-2-1 on the year. They return to the pitch on Friday at Sewanee to open SCAC Conference action and continue on to Centre on Sunday.

#6 Trinity Trinity won in its only game last week, defeating NAIA Our Lady of the Lake University 4-0 on Friday night. The Tigers scored twice in each half to earn the victory, remaining undefeated, and recording the team's sixth consecutive shutout. Trinity has not allowed a goal in more than 600 minutes of game action. Emily Jorgens scored two goals – one in each half – to lead Trinity to the win, while Mariah Risk and Lindsay Euers also scored goals. Next up for the Tigers will be a game against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Tuesday evening, then will face Centre and Sewanee this weekend to open SCAC play.
