SUWANEE, Ga. - Colorado College's Haley Hamilton and Southwestern University's Rachel Thibodeau were named to the Capital One Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Both Hamilton and Thibodeau were named to the District 8 first-team. Hamilton maintains a 3.79 Grade Point Averavge (GPA) as a biology major. Thibodeau carries a perfect 4.00 GPA as a psychology major.
As first-team selections, Hamilton and Thibodeau will now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
