MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The 2011 SCAC Field Hockey
Championship comes to Memphis, Tenn., as Rhodes College proudly
serves as tournament host. The tournament begins on Saturday,
November 5th and runs through Sunday, November 6th and will
take place on the campus Rhodes College.
Centre College, Hendrix College, Rhodes College and Sewanee: The
University of the South will meet and compete for the SCAC field
hockey championship.

available and tournament stats will be
updated throughout the weekend.
Last year, Rhodes College claimed its second straight SCAC
championship and the program's fourth overall (2004, 2006, 2009,
2010) with a 2-1 overtime victory over DePauw University in the
championship game.
The Lynx's Katie Faucher scored the championship deciding goal at
70:59 in overtime, breaking a 1-1 tie. Rhodes went on to earn an
at-large berth into the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship
and became just the third team in league history to advance to the
NCAA playoffs.
