WILL SALONY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Dallas, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 27 through Sunday, April 2. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 5
Salony shined last weekend for the Tigers are the Texas State Bobcat Invitational, competing in both the 800- and 1,500-meters for the first time this season. He crossed the line in 3:53.92 in the 1,500 currently ranks second in the SCAC, while his time of 1:55.07 in the 800 sits fourth. Salony’s time in the 1,500-meters was good enough for sixth in a highly competitive B section.
