AZARIAH ANDERSON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from St. Charles, Mo., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 18 through Sunday, March 24. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 4
Anderson posted his fastest season-opener in the 110m hurdles with a mark of 14.39 at the TLU D3 Challenge to place second. He also ran his first-ever 400m hurdles race and ran a 56.89 and ran a leg of the 400 relay team that took fourth. He is currently ranked first in the conference in the 110m hurdles and third in Division 3.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Weston Guzman of Texas Lutheran placed third in the 100 (10.71) and 200 (21.83), this weekend at the TLU D3 Challenge. He also was the lead off leg for the 4x100 team that finished second. With his 100 meter time of 10.71, he moves into the top 15 nationally.
