CAROLINE MYERS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Austin, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Saturday, September 18 to Sunday, October 17. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 1)
Myers won two individual events and was a member of two winning relays at Saturday's season-opening dual against Southwestern. She won the 50 fly with a 26.42, after taking the 100 fly in 59.73. On the winning 200 medley relay Myers split a 25.77 on the fly leg. She ended the meet going a 24.68 on the second leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Lorin Mow of McMurry won three individual events and had a second place relay finish in Saturday's dual at Austin College. She contributed to 31 of McMurry's 92 points, taking first place in the 100 fly (1:08.93), the 100 free (1:00.43) and the 200 free (2:09.96). The 200 medley relay team she was a member of finished in a time of 2:05.04.
