BAILEY MEYER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from Southlake, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, October 24th through Sunday, October 30th. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 9)
Meyer led the eighth-ranked Tiger women’s soccer team to a pair of SCAC home victories to close out the regular season over the weekend, clinching the 2022 SCAC Regular Season Championship for Trinity. Led by Meyer, Trinity allowed just three total shots in the two wins this weekend, blanking both the second and third-highest scoring teams in the league this season. Meyer and the Tigers have won 17 consecutive games, which includes 14 straight shutout wins. Trinity did not allow a goal during conference play this season, spanning 14 total games.
