ABBY SCHNEIDER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Albuquerque, N.M., has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, October 9th through Sunday, October 15th. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 7)
Schneider notched a goal in each game over the weekend as Trinity remained undefeated in SCAC play with road wins over Southwestern and Texas Lutheran. Schneider's goal on Friday put the Tigers up 2-0 over Southwestern at the time and helped fuel a four-goal second half on the way to the victory. On Sunday, Schneider rang home the eventual game-winner in the 38th minute to help deliver a 2-1 victory. Schneider is now third in the SCAC in both goals and points with six and 12 respectively.
Schneider shares this week's honor with Claire Reed of University of Dallas.
