JORDYN WILLIAMS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman first baseman from Clayton, Calif., has been named the SCAC Softball Hitter of the Week for games played from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman outfielder Mackenzie Cox of Centenary helped secure a series victory for the Ladies over Southwestern last weekend. Cox led the way at the plate, batting .600 (6-for-10) with three runs scored and two extra base hits. Freshman infielder Mia Terry of St. Thomas led the Celts at the plate in a three-game sweep of Dallas last weekend. Terry paced the Celts with a .667 (6-for-9) batting average, six RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Junior outfielder Skylar Ouellette of Texas Lutheran led TLU to a 6-0 week and 5-0 mark in the SCAC by hitting .375 and driving in eight. She had at least one RBI in each of the six games. She also stole three bases. Ouellette homered in the series-opener against Schreiner. She drove in three in the final game of the four-game set with the Mountaineers. She had two doubles, a walk, and a stolen base in the first game of the doubleheader sweep of Trinity.
