ASHLYN MILTON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Amarillo, Texas has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 15 through Sunday, November 21. (Women's Basketball Weekly Release - Week 3)

Milton led Trinity to a pair of wins at the Ken Schumann Classic over the weekend, defeating both Linfield College and tournament hosts Pacific (OR) University. Milton began the weekend with a career-high 25 points in just 25 minutes of action in a 92-68 win over Linfield. She hit 7-11 from the field, 5-8 from three-point range, and 6-6 at the foul line. She also set new career-highs in three-pointers made and free throws made in a single game. In game two of the weekend, she led the team with 16 points on 6-12 shooting, hitting 4-9 from distance. She also pulled down six rebounds and dished out a career-high six assists to lead the Tigers to a 72-69 win over Pacific.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore guard Addy Tremie of Centenary poured in a career-high 24 points last Saturday in a loss to Belhaven. She connected on 11-of-22 shooting in 39 minutes of action and grabbed a team high seven rebounds. Junior guard Anna Fanelli of Colorado College led the Tigers to an 82-70 victory last Saturday after tying her career-high with 16 points and secured her fourth career double-double with 11 assists. On the week, Fanelli averaged 14 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 rebounds per game. Junior forward Andrea Salazar of Schreiner scored 12 points on a remarkable 83.3 percent shooting and grabbed four rebounds in a loss to Huston-Tillotson last Friday night. Junior guard Reece Sandercock of Southwestern scored a career-high 17 points on an efficient 6-for-8 shooting with nine rebounds and two steals to lead the Pirates to a win over Southwest (N.M.). Sandercock averaged 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds over the weekend, shooting 61.5 percent from the field. Junior forward Olivia Anga of St. Thomas averaged a double-double last week to help the Celts split a pair of contests, including an impressive 93-78 win over SAA foe Birmingham-Southern. Anga averaged 13.5 points on 40.7 percent shooting and grabbed 10.5 rebounds per night. She also dished out two assists per game as well. Sophomore forward Tanyse Moehrig of Texas Lutheran averaged 8.3 points and 6.3 rebounds last week for the Bulldogs, including a 15 point, 12 rebound double-double in a tough loss to Southwest (N.M.) last Saturday.
