ERIN FLYNN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from League City, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Wednesday, March 24 through Tuesday, March 30.
Flynn led the way for the Tigers with a two-day score of 156 (74-82) at the UMHB Lady Crusader Invitational, finishing in third place among the 29 player field. She tied for second in the tournament in par 4 scoring, was third in the field with four birdies, and tied for third among all players with 18 pars among her 36 holes. She also tied for third with teammates Caterina Mora Adrover and Delaney Kelley in par 5 scoring.

Junior Abigail Hayes of Centenary had two strong performances on the week, finishing in 14th place at the UMHB Lady Crusasder Invitational and then backing that up with a top 10 finish at the Linda Lowery Invitational two days later. Senior Katelyn Smith of Schreiner earned a top 10 finish at the Linda Lowery Invitational, shooting rounds of 77 and 85 to finish in a tie for seventh individually with a two-day total of 162. Freshman Claire Kirby of Dallas had the best scores for UD at the UMBH Lady Crusader Invitational, firing rounds of 92 and 95 to finish in 23rd with a score of 187.
