ANNIE ROSE LEGGETT OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior outside hitter from Austin, Texas, has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 13 through Sunday, September 19. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 3)

Leggett was named the Most Valuable Player of the Trinity National Invitational, leading the No. 3 Tigers' to three victories over the weekend, including a 3-0 victory over No. 18 Northwestern-St. Paul Friday night - the second such victory for Trinity over a nationally-ranked opponent this season (the Tigers defeated No. 2 Emory on 9/10).

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior right side Lauren Crabtree of Southwestern earned Trinity National Invitational All-Tournament honors with double-digit kills in both matches to lead the 22nd-ranked Pirates to an undefeated weekend. Crabtree totaled 22 kills for an average of 3.14 per set on an efficient .364 hitting percentage. Senior outside hitter Isabella Vasquez of Colorado College averaged a double-double while leading the Tigers to a 3-1 record despite playing all four matches in less than 24 hours at the Johns Hopkins Invitational last week in Baltimore. In Saturday's 3-1 victory over Susquehanna University, Vasquez led the Tigers with a career-high 19 kills and completed a double-double with 13 digs. Despite having no time to rest before CC played No. 1 Johns Hopkins, Vasquez produced team highs of 12 kills and 13 digs for her fourth double-double of the season and the 12th of her career in the three-set loss to the Blue Jays. During Friday's sweep of Ithaca, Vasquez hit .348 with 10 kills on 23 swings with just two errors.
