MACKENZIE LOGAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior outside hitter from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 30 through Sunday, November 5. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 10)
Logan led the 13th-ranked Tigers with 13 kills and a .458 hitting percentage in team's lone match last week, a 3-0 sweep of Schreiner in the regular season finale. Logan also had six digs and tallied a team-best 13.5 points in the match.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior outside hitter Victoria Smith of Austin College closed out her career with a strong weekend as the 'Roos went 2-1, including a win over SCAC foe Dallas. Smith notched double-digit kills in all three matches with a high of 12 against LeTourneau, averaging 2.54 kills-per-set while adding 10 total blocks for the weekend. Sophomore outside hitter Audrey Cataline of St. Thomas set her career high in kills with 28 in the SCAC match to Texas Lutheran. She had a total of 31.5 points and a remarkable .244 hitting percentage.
