DEJAH CARR OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Channelview, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, February 22 through Sunday, February 28.
Carr chalked up an impressive second place finish in the hammer throw at the Hardin Simmons Invitational. Her toss of 42.34 meters (138-11) was the farthest throw by a Division III athlete at the meet and leads the entire Division by almost 17 feet.
