Brancaleon, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, and Bennett, a first-year from Little Elm, Texas, picked up their first match victory together as a team, defeating the top line Austin College squad of Maya Leisey and Sierra Thomas, 8-6, on Saturday in SCAC play.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Lydia Lee and senior Alli Ziehm of Southwestern picked up an 8-2 win over Schreiner's Blair Drought-Villarreall and Rachel Rompel at No. 2 doubles in the Pirates' 9-0 road conference sweep of the Mountaineers.
