MARY EBY AND KAITLYN ENLOE OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matched played from Monday, March 22 to Sunday, March 28.
Eby, a senior from Rockport, Texas, and Enloe, a junior from Seguin, Texas, defeated the No. 1 doubles teams from both University of the Ozarks and Sul Ross State last week. Eby and Enloe posted 8-5 victories over both squads.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Zoe and Mary Kaffen of Trinity scored the only doubles win of the night as the Tiger women's tennis team was edged 5-4 by Division II St. Mary's. The Tiger duo is 7-4 overall this season and have now won five consecutive matches - including two wins over teams outside of Division III. Alli Ziehm and Mariana Quetzeri of Southwestern defeated Austin College's Maya Leisey and Elena Aventa, 8-0, in No. 3 doubles before dropping an 8-3 decision to top-ranked NJCAA program Tyler Junior College's Momoka Yoshimura and Jadeh Chan.
