ISABEL ARAGON-MENZEL OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior setter from Chanhassen, Minn., has been named SCAC Volleyball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, March 1 through Sunday, March 7.

Aragon-Menzel got it done on both sides of the net while leading Colorado College to back-to-back victories over No. 1 Trinity last weekend, but it was her defensive performance that proved to be a major factor in CC's success. Aragon-Menzel averaged 4.38 digs per set to help limit Trinity to a .153 team hitting percentage during the two matches. She also tied her season high with 18 digs and had a hand in two blocked shots during Friday's 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 victory, the program's second-ever win over an opponent ranked No. 1 in the AVCA Division III Coaches Top 25 Poll.

Aragon-Menzel also dished out 38 assists while leading CC to a .282 hitting percentage in the series opener.
