ALLY LOWE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a first-year from Arvada, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 31 through Sunday, April 6. SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 10
Lowe won both of her singles matches at the No. 2 position against Division II opponents last weekend. She opened the weekend by rallying for a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0(5) victory over Colorado Mesa's Devyn Rodriguez, then helped the Tigers defeat Metro State for the first time since 2016 with a decisive 6-2 6-2 win over Kim Heddes. She is 4-3 at the No. 2 spot this season.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Graduate student Ellie Hughes of Trinity led the eighth-ranked Tiger women's tennis team to a 7-0 road win over Southwestern in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Sunday afternoon. Hughes scored a 6-1, 6-0 victory at line two singles to clinch the conference matchup, which the Tigers went on to sweep every point.
